Recommendations following the meeting on 13 February 2020

During the meeting of the High-Level Group on Innovation Policy Management, which took place in Bilbao on the 13th of February 2020, the HLG discussed some issues of importance for the reform of the European Research Area and for the next financial programme for research and innovation.

Recommendations were concluded on two clusters:

1. The role of Research and Technological Organisations (RTOs) in the reform of the European Research Area,

2. The Role of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and

3. The reform of the European Research Area to achieve the objectives of the Green Deal.
